Job Description

Our Finance Velocity Office was designed to accelerate our path to building a world-class finance function. This function is shaping our transformation strategy, improving our business operations and enhancing the impact we make as a function. Why velocity? As a key member of the Finance Velocity Office, this role will serve as a Consultant on the Finance Organization workstream. This person will work closely with the Velocity Office Leadership team and Program Leader for the Organization workstream to conduct detailed analysis, develop recommendations and lead preparation of presentations for working teams and executive level stakeholders. This role requires high level of analytic rigor, attention to detail and ability to influence and mobilize cross-functional teams.

This role reports to the Director, Finance Transformation and will have frequent interaction with the Finance Velocity Office Leadership and Portfolio Management Team, the Finance Leadership Team and Executive level stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

Strategy: Works with leadership team to proactively evolve the Finance strategy, identify issues and ensure progress against key prioritiesProcess: Develop and manage templates, processes and methodologies to ensure consistency across transformationProject planning and delivery: support on delivery of project plans providing targeted support to deliver implementationStakeholder engagement: Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders (i.e., executives and staff) as part of delivery of targeted activities/analysisExecutive communications and presentations: Design and deliver compelling presentations to effectively illustrate findings, ideas and recommendations, tailored to various audiences including CEO, CFO, Finance Leadership Team and Executive Committee and Broader FinanceProblem-solving & analysis: Lead analyses to drive decision-making on critical strategic topics. Proactively identify issues and provide recommendations on solutions, leveraging input from cross-functional teamsAs-needed leadership engagement: Prepare for and support leadership to drive ad hoc leadership meetings as requested, to support program delivery / acceleration

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3+ set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 5 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD) in Finance, Project management, Management Consulting, or related fields
• 2-3 years of experience in management consulting required
• 8+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in a well-disciplined organization where best practices are integral to the management of the business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into a compelling narrative, and in a variety of formats (ex. presentations, talking points, executive summaries, etc.)
• Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output
• Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills in a global, matrixed environment with cross-functional teams
• Self-starter, results oriented individual with the ability to “roll up their sleeves”
• Ability to anticipate issues before they arise and work to proactively support resolution
• Proven track record of driving results, even when faced with ambiguous circumstances
• Exceptional personal accountability and the highest of ethical standards

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
