As a Consultant in the Fund Accounting Department you will be responsible for
Analysis and set up in GP4 of mandatory and optional corporate actionsAnalysis and validation of the dividendsAnalysis of the defaulted instrumentsDaily stock reconciliation with CustodiansMonitoring of incoming coupons and dividends payments from the custodian (checks, controls and claims)Tax matrix updatesSkills/ Experience
Degree (University) in economics/business administration/accounting or Final secondary school examinationsWork experience more than 5 years in a similar position and environment and sound experience in fund accounting desirableVery good knowledge of the securities / investment business, including derivative instruments, corporate actions and settlementVery good knowledge of the different instrument’s typesVery good knowledge of withholding tax and tax reclaim processesGood knowledge of accounting principles in general and a numerical literateGP4 knowledge desirable, good command of Excel (VBA is an asset)Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Very good teamwork and communication skills.A very good command of English is essential.
