The Income Tax Compliance Consultant (“Consultant”) works with a team to provide income tax compliance services to corporate and partnership clients. The Consultant prepares original and amended federal and state income tax returns, identifies tax issues and provides tax analysis for a wide variety of entities and their affiliates. The Consultant works closely with other team members and also must be able to work independently when required.Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

Prepares and files original and/or amended federal and state corporate and partnership income tax returnsReviews documentation and researches federal and state tax return issuesWorks with raw data to complete calculations and tax returnsWorks well in a collaborative and teaming environmentPerforms other duties as assignedEducation and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting and/or FinanceMinimum 1-2 years of tax professional services experienceBasic understanding of federal and state income taxProfessional Skills:
Excellent organization and time management skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsBasic knowledge of GOSYSTEMS Tax RS software, ONESOURCE software, and/or Corptax software is highly preferredProficiency in Microsoft® Excel, Microsoft® Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and researchWork Environment:
Standard indoor working environment.Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm in person and via e-mail and telephone.Position requires regular interaction with clients and interface with external vendors in person and via e-mail and telephone. For certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $74,800 - $95,000For other California based locations, the base salary hiring range for this position is $68,600 - $87,000For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $65,500 - $83,000For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $65,500 - $83,000For other Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $68,600 - $87,000For New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $74,800 - $95,000For other New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $62,300 - $79,000For Washington based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $68,600 - $87,000For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $65,500 - $83,000The Company makes offers based on many factors, including qualifications and experience.
