Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert consultation, analysis, visualization, and advice on data-driven strategies and solutions to stakeholders and leadership.Lead special projects and strategic HR data analysis projects collaborating with leaders to implement strategies and solutions and monitor key people metrics and KPIs. Serve as an analytic consultant and contact for team members and associates outside the department.Use moderate to complex techniques in data collection, management, analysis, and reporting to implement sophisticated and interactive dashboards, scorecards, and outcome realization results.Assess key trends and determine metric correlations as it relates to internal and external data such as industry, economic, and competitor benchmarks.Implement automated and scalable solutions through expert knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and HR data sources.Develop strong relationships with HR Business Partners, HR leaders and business partners to drives strategic and operational initiatives.Ensure the quality and integrity of human capital data, visualization techniques, and analysis processes and tools.Stay abreast of methodologies and practices, mentor junior staff and share knowledge to increase capabilities across human resources functions.May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

As a Consultant, you'll focus on advanced analytics, statistical analysis and predictive modeling to find meaningful relationships across disparate data sources. We'll count on you to continually increase the value of human resources analytics.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provides business support by developing and maintaining human capital statistical models and analysis reporting tools. Collaborates with management regarding implications of analysis. Leads analytical projects and programs that require data integration, decision analysis and advanced statistical modeling.

Identifies appropriate sources and methods of data collection and analysis. Continually seeks new data sources relevant to advanced predictive analytics and statistical modeling.

Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business and customer objectives; interprets statistical/analytical results. Identifies and assists in implementing data/reporting process improvements.

Assesses key trends; determines metric correlations as it relates to industry, economic and competitor/benchmark influences. Synthesizes research findings and delivers insights to leadership in a manner that influences decision making and strategy development.

Crafts mathematical models to be used to identify relationships among multiple data sources for both causal and predictive analytics using R, SPSS, SAS or other advanced quantitative analytics tools.

Ensures the quality and integrity of human capital analytic data, reports, and analytic tools; validates and updates models periodically and provides validation reports.

Stays abreast of methodologies and practices and shares knowledge to increase capabilities across human resources functions.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to AVP People Analytics. This is an individual contributor role.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate studies in human resources, business administration, mathematics or related field strongly preferred. Post graduate studies in mathematics, industrial/organization psychology, statistics or related quantitative/analytics field preferred.

Experience: Typically, eight or more years demonstrated experience in with large databases, database management (e.g., data extractions and query), analytical problem solving in a business environment, data visualization, programming models and queries and SQL, Access or other statistical software (SPSS, R). Prefer professional experience in human resources, marketing research or related fields.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Advanced knowledge of quantitative theories and techniques and their role in business context and business applications. Must have detailed knowledge of new statistical/computational techniques as well as data visualization. Demonstrable knowledge of project management concept and techniques. Human resources knowledge preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with business leadership, including ability to prepare and conduct presentations translating complex issues into easily understandable messages for different types of audiences. Must be self-motivated and driven by curiosity and a desire to help the business by solving complex problems. Proven ability to effectively conduct statistical and quantitative analysis (i.e., advanced Excel, Access, R, SAS, SPSS, etc.). Confirmed ability to conduct data manipulation, visualization and analyses. Ability to formulate business questions/problems into analytical questions and conduct analyses. Ability to manage projects and collaborate with team members.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.
