To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What you'll be doing** As an integral member of the CIBC’s Portfolio Management and Enablement team, and reporting to the Director, Digital Portfolio Management, the Consultant, Portfolio Management & Enablement will provide support to the Senior Digital leadership team on business cases, projects, reports, decision support financial analysis, implementation of strategies and initiatives across the Digital line of business. The Senior Consultant is accountable for providing direct support to the Directors, Sr. Directors, VP and SVP on matters related to the successful management and operations of the teams. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._ **How you’ll succeed** + **Financial Analysis & Operational Reporting –** Oversee reporting on financial performance, related to direct operating expenses and operational metrics for CIBC Digital, in collaboration with Finance and other partners. Manage Direct Operating Expenses (DOE) portfolio planning and reporting, including monthly portfolio reporting, and resource planning. Develop presentations for an executive audience and partner with senior leadership in communicating key messages intended to support strategic decision making. + **Vendor Management -** Facilitate the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring adherence to CIBC policies and procedures. Maintain up-to-date records of vendor contracts, including key dates for renewals and associated spending forecasts. Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related inquiries and issues, providing timely and effective support. Act as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders during vendor onboarding and renewals to ensure alignment on expectations and deliverables, while ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and verified during the onboarding process. + **Business Continuity Management –** Manage and support business continuity activities in collaboration with business unit management and subject matter experts. Ensure compliance with the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Policy, Standards, and Guidelines, coordinating the completion of all BCM Policy requirements for the business unit. Develop and maintain business continuity documentation, including alternate strategies, and ensure timely sign-off from relevant stakeholders. Participate in BCM training and awareness activities, providing communications regarding BCM Program requirements to business units. + **Resource Management and Invoicing –** Provide support to the Directors, Sr. Director and other senior leadership to communicate status and provide valuable insight against stated business objectives (i.e. Resource & Vendor Management). Oversee reporting on financial performance, related to business resource and department operational metrics for the CIBC Digital PBB businesses, in collaboration with Finance and other partners. Review and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements. Process invoices for payment in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies. Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices. + **Business Management -** Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and maintain business continuity plans, prepare and support town hall meetings for Digital Banking, and provide ad-hoc assistance on various management tasks. Engage with key stakeholders to enhance strategies, and prepare monthly and quarterly reports to senior management. Presenting and sharing insights to exec audience including Sr directors, VP and SVP. Collaborate with multiple groups to answer ad-hoc questions and problems. + **Problem solving and analytical skills -** You will identify potential issues/problems and provide timely solutions. Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for gaining the cooperation and support of others. Excellent ability to prepare and present financial information effectively articulating issues and making recommendations via your analysis and assessment of financial results. You will maintain a close working relationship with your business partners. + **Relationship Management –** Liaise with functional groups across CIBC when developing business or financial analysis. Work closely with vendors and partners in Digital product groups to ensure strategic and financial alignment. Communicate with the bank’s Procurement team and other stakeholders to provide support during contract renewals and vendor onboarding. Act as a single point of contact between inter-departmental groups, such as Finance, Procurement, Business Continuity Management, and Technology, where expertise and experience need to be shared. **Who you are** + **You can demonstrate experience** in financial business support and analysis.
