Inviting applications for the role of Consultant – SAP EDI

Responsibilities:

ERP system implementation consultant – including new software, redesigned business processes, new networks, peripheral hardware and end-user training, with a focus in EDI / Supply Chain / Production Quality

Assist on IT assessment including evaluating technology’s value to the organization and creating a plan to address deficiencies

Project work including process redesign, IT planning, project management

Business development activities including developing project scope definition, work plans and proposals

Initiates / drives improvements to obtain effective and efficient supply chain processes

Represent the business in supply chain management projects with relation to EDI as defined in the agreed SCM roadmap or by local management

Provide high level expertise on B2B/EDI technology

Participate to the presales phase to show the value of services to deploy the solution

The consultant provides expert advice and technical support on all aspects of Unum's EDI process and oversees the setup and maintenance of data connections with our clients and technology partners

Partner with clients / vendors to configure Electronic Data Interface (EDI) member eligibility / billing transmission files for UnitedHealthcare Financial Protection Products

Partner with sales, brokers, internal resources to document and communicate policy structure and plan design for customer enrolment

Provide production support for active EDI eligibility and billing groups

Negotiating agreements for ongoing data distribution and support with customers and third-party vendors

The creation/interpretation of connection and system integration requirements, testing and implementation of new data interchanges, and ongoing daily operational support.

Collaborates with business partners to provide EDI subject matter expertise on Unum's data models, associated systems and technology, in support of Sales, Implementation, Administration, Benefits and other key internal business processes

Involvement in process improvements, system enhancements, and general problem solving to improve the customer experience and team effectiveness

Build strong partnerships with internal business, field and IT teams

Develop project plans and delivery timelines related to the data exchange process and resolution proposals for identified errors

Responsible for ongoing management of existing data feeds in support of enhancements and updates

Support acquisition of new business by responding to RFP and other pre-sale requests regarding feed implementations

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation: B.Tech /B.E, MBA/MCA

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

Knowledge of S/4 HANA.

Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with multiple teams. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive complex, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing demonstrations including issues, status reports.

Excellent IDOC Processing knowledge with working knowledge on IDOC fails situations to run on debug mode.
