Consultant
Drive projects during all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in different domains.
Conduct impact analysis of requirements by analyzing Business Requirement Documents (BRD), prepare System Requirements (SR) by evaluating technical feasibility. Conduct Technical Impact Assessments (TIA), technical High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
Review project vision documents with business stakeholders, Architects, Testing, User Acceptance Testing teams to draft BRDs for technical teams to define and develop IT architecture strategies and roadmaps.
Support the design and develop highly available and scalable multi-tier enterprise applications.
Assist with designing and implementing new functionality and ensuring high reliability, availability, and performance of the applications.
Perform coding and designing solutions as per BRDs. Deploy technical code components for application project go-live in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production environments.
Plan and define testing strategies and perform Unit testing for code changes. Review and obtain alignment/ sign-off on drafted testing scenarios, test cases, and sample data for testing the application solution models and code.
Track all project related questions and defect tracker for maintaining all defects raised in SIT (System Integration Testing)/ UAT phases which are used for defect prevention (DP) analysis.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve non-routine and very complex mission-critical production issues that immediately impact application availability.
Work with the Development team on permanent defect resolution and ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreement) are in compliance with project code functionality.
Map processes to holistically examine business flow and identify improvement opportunities.
May be assigned to and provide products/ support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.
Three (3) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related.
Three (3) years of required IT experience, or related must include: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Java; J2EE; Spring; Web Services; Version Control Systems such as: Git, SVN; Maven; and Jenkins.
ALTERNATE EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of any occupation with IT experience, or related. Must have skills listed above.
ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.
EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40 hrs./wk. Salary: $149,781 - $150,781
