Consultant Analytics

**Role Purpose**
The analytics consultant role generates insights and support decision making across a broad spectrum of projects. Leads impactful initiatives and mentor others through deep familiarization of data sets, analytical tools, computing tools, data visualization tools and advanced analytical techniques. Leverage revenue and operational data to explain performance and to identify opportunities for growth.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Develop a strong business knowledge on the area of support and provide consultation to all levels of organization.
+ Confidently make decisions, perform day-to-day responsibilities and communicate to colleagues and stakeholders with minimal supervision required.
+ Establish project plans according to area of support; lead and track the execution.
+ Effectively present to stakeholders, townhalls or meetings, based on interpretation of data analysis to report findings and make recommendation based on results.
+ Stay abreast of latest techniques, tools and data updates.
+ Develop content for formal Analytics skills training courses, when required
+ Drives own development plan and competent to leading self
+ Compile, analyze, measure and report performance against goals.
+ Present recommendation to improve performance to key stakeholders.
**Key Skills & Experiences**
Education
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Economics) or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
+ Minimum university degree and 4-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Experience
+ Minimum of 3 years progressive work-related experience working with relational decision-support databases and analytical consulting with demonstrated proficiency and understanding in one or more functions related to the position.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
+ Demonstrated computing and database reporting skills.
+ Mastery in the tools required for area of support- may not be limited to Microsoft Excel, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Salesforce or Tableau, SAS, Business Objects, Python and R. Certification is a plus.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of Visual Basic scripting techniques, Microsoft Access and Excel functionality to include the use of macros to streamline report-publishing process.
+ Proficiency in providing insights and/or statistical techniques/concepts, database support on respective assigned areas
+ Expertise in programming to process queries from different source tables
+ Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
+ Established a strong working knowledge of the different business functional areas and act as point of contact to respective stakeholders.
+ Project management skills and ability to manage different priorities.
+ Ability to influence people at all levels of the organization while achieving results without supervision. Create and manage large-scale changes
+ Requires broad knowledge of theory, practices and principles within a specific professional discipline.
+ Understands operational needs.
+ Applies subject matter knowledge independently.
+ Established a strong working knowledge of the different business functional areas and act as point of contact to respective stakeholders.
