Consultant - Defense & Security, Financial Management - Campus 2025
**Job Family** **:** Finance & Accounting Consulting **Travel Required** **:** Up to 10% **Clearance Required** **:** Ability to Obtain Secret **What You Will Do** **:** Our 2025 Campus Defense & Security Financial Management/Audit Remediation/Accounting Consultants help our federal clients within Defense & National Security optimize all elements of their finance management structure. Our new consultants will also build their professional and personal consulting skillsets while gaining a strong understanding of consulting within a financial capability. Key responsibilities include: + Accounting and budget management + Audit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation (e.g., narratives and flow charts), and developing/implementing corrective action plans to address findings + Performing recurring testing, such as testing internal controls, designing and executing Manager’s Internal Controls Programs + Performing and reviewing statement analysis, financial information, reporting results, and financial statement audit report analysis **What You Will Need** **:** + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, Secret, or higher level of federal/government security clearance. + US Citizenship is required for security clearance + Completing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree (between fall 2024 and summer 2025) from an accredited college or university. **What Would Be Nice To Have** **:** + United States college or university majors focusing in accounting, finance, change management, or business information systems + ACTIVE and CURRENT security clearance + Strong organizational and communication skills + Interest in growing a career in consulting, preferably government/federal/DoD consulting **What We Offer** **:** Guidehouse offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
