The Position

This is an entry level, dynamic and exciting position with potential for growth.  Associates in this position are provided with an opportunity to work across a variety of departments within our Business Operations group, which supports Kroll Restructuring’s Consulting and Solicitation departments.  Associates execute numerous client service responsibilities related to administering complex chapter 11 cases.  The candidate will be trained to perform all relevant tasks and will report to a Business Operations Managing Consultant.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and meticulous critical thinker. Candidate must be detail oriented, work at a good pace, be able to work independently and willing to work long hours (as necessary). 

The Consultant’s responsibilities will include:

Process tasks/documents/requests using MS Office applications, proprietary software, or preferred tools  Operate as per the defined workflow processes and Standard Operating Procedures Actively collaborate and consult with peers and supervisor(s) on case work Promptly and effectively communicate task status to department supervisor(s) Review and analyze various legal documents, reports, and records (e.g. claims, contracts, affidavits of service, case communication materials, and more) Perform case-related research Perform quality assurance reviews, verify data and processing requirements, and make adjustments as necessary  Ensure accurate record keeping and time tracking Adhere to estimates and deadlines for completion of assigned tasks / projects Additional responsibilities as assigned

 

Requirements

Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data management is a plus Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strong attention to detail Legal, financial or technology industry background is a plus
