RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

We are seeking a highly-motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a keen attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This role requires an independent worker who must be willing to dedicate extra hours when necessary to meet deadlines or handle urgent tasks.

 

The Consultant will perform the following functions:

 

·        Work in a team to create Schedules and Statements for companies currently in the US Bankruptcy process.

·        Maintain integrity of creditor data input and output within excel and proprietary software

·        Review client data to identify relevant information for inclusion in Court required financial reporting.

·        Work with internal and external teams to draft and coordinate court filings.

·        Communicate effectively and professionally with counsel, advisors, production (internal and external) and internal colleagues.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·        Strong MS excel skills and experience working with large datasets. Proficient with vlookup and pivot tables and ability to train others a plus.

·        Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties, including articulating high-level concepts and granular details, as appropriate.

·        Experience with accounting and reviewing of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, trial balances and other accounting records.

·        Comfortable with technology and learning new proprietary systems.

·        Agile and Self Driven

Must be able to handle tasks and pursue learning with limited or no direction.Must be comfortable asking questions of peers and management and clients, as appropriate.

·        Restructuring experience preferred and/or relevant financial consulting experience
