Here at EY, our professionals within the Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice in Belgrade develop specifically tailored solutions to our clients in order to build trust and to ensure clarity, transparency and continuity. We currently have a career opportunity for a Consultant in Financial Accounting Advisory Services based in Belgrade.

Your key responsibilities 

Support and advise our international and national clients in the industrial, commercial and service sectors in accounting matters (IFRS and local GAAP). Support clients in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and improving their financial reporting. Providing assistance to our clients on accounting changes and conversions (GAAP conversions), implementation of new standards, and providing accounting opinions. Support clients to develop analytical tools or financial models for their daily operations. Help our clients develop and transform their financial function and reporting processes with the aim of optimizing the balance between efficiency, effectiveness and control.  Ensure that engagements are executed in accordance with the firm’s methodologies and guidance, professional standards and local legal and regulatory requirements.  Demonstrate knowledge of financial accounting concepts under the IFRS framework.

To qualify for the role you must have 

A Bachelor or master’s degree (in Accounting or Finance). Proficiency in MS office Between 2 and 4 years of working experience preferably gathered in accounting or finance in industry, audit or consulting is an advantage Experience in analyzing IFRS and local GAAP accounting treatments
