The Role
Join Veeva as we modernize software for the life sciences industry. We are bringing to market a modern cloud solution designed to optimize laboratories with increased efficiency and productivity by streamlining processes. Join the team that will partner with our customers to implement one of Veeva’s newest products - . Passionate about bringing disruptive technology to customers and have novel ideas for successful GMP software implementation? This role will allow you to help our clients to drive new product adoption through successful implementations. As a key member of our China Professional Services team, you will work side-by-side with customers and our solution architects to implement Veeva LIMS. In this role, you will lead the overall delivery of Veeva LIMS for our customers. You will define and drive business processes, lead the project team in delivering the solution, and guide our customers throughout the implementation programs. 
As a Consultant, you will actively collaborate across Veeva, contributing ideas, enhancing our delivery model, and working closely with our product management team to meet the evolving needs of the industry. Help us transform and bring innovation to QC Labs!What You'll DoLead life sciences customers in the implementation of Vault Quality Suite applications, including LIMS, to ensure customer successGuide customers on how to enhance their platforms with an innovative approach through cloud-based software applicationsDefine strategies and implementation programs for deploying Veeva Vault LIMS across organizationsProject management, including resource planning, leading and motivating a cross-functional team, and project budget tracking and forecastingPrimary customer liaison managing communication between the project team, customer, external partners, and internal stakeholdersMentor project team and junior consultants in the Professional Services organizationRepresent Professional Services across multiple engagements and workstreams (e.g., solution design and configuration, data migration, systems integration, etc.)RequirementsStrong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English8+ years of experience implementing and/or supporting LIMS systemsProven track of delivering subject matter expertise on implementation methodology and driving best practicesDemonstrated expertise in customer leadership and fostering a collaborative team environmentDemonstrated work history in stakeholder management, critical thinking skills, ability to conduct complex and technical communications in a wide variety of settings and audiences, and the determination to see client success with solution implementationAbility to travel 25-50% within ChinaCandidate must be based in Shanghai and have the legal right to workNice to HaveUnderstanding of business requirements, scientific data, compliance considerations, and processes for laboratory information management, life sciences compliance, and/or computer systems validationExperience implementing Laboratory Information Management Systems for life sciences as a consultant, business, or IT representativeDirect experience with systems such as LabWare, SQL LIMS, LabVantage, StarLIMS, SampleManager, SmartLab, BIOVIA, Nugenesis, Empower, Laboratory Information Manager System, QMS, ELN, LIMS, and other informatics or similar systemsConsulting experienceProject Management skills and PMP certification are a plusSaaS/Cloud experienceVeeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
