Job DescriptionPrimary responsibilities:Provide frontline safety leadership / mentoring / coaching for the Mining Operations and Mining Projects teams.Provide cross-functional mining operations, projects and mining engineering support to the Mining Department to enable 2025 budget delivery and achievement of targeted production ramp-up profile.Ensure safe, on-time delivery of mining capital projects, including the UG recovery project, UG de-watering system upgrades, paste reticulation network extensions / upgrades and digitilisation project.Lead the implementation / embedment of the OGC Project Management Framework in the Mining Projects Team.Ensure compliance to OGC project management, procurement and contract management standards.QualificationsExperience / Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mining EngineeringFirst Class Mining Manager Certificate (Aus or NZ) desired.6 yrs + experience in underground metalliferous mining.Experience in coordinating front-end engineering and design (FEED) for underground ventilation, paste fill and de-watering projects is desirable.Practical experience in the execution of underground infrastructure projects is essential (de-watering, ventilation, paste reticulation, raiseboring)Strong communication skills, including verbal communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.Demonstrated ability to manage change, promote innovation, and address challenges with urgency.Technical leadership and coaching experience to develop individuals and enhance team capabilities.Skilled in identifying and resolving issues, implementing preventative controls, and mitigating risks.Ability to hold oneself and others accountable to deliver high-quality results aligned with standards.Commitment to integrating leading operational and technical practices into all aspects of work.Proven ability to build trust, cultivate innovation, and align team efforts with organisational goals.Additional InformationHighly attractive remuneration package inclusive of health and life insurance benefitsGreat opportunities for career advancement with an international mining companyFriendly roster with great onsite foods, accommodation, and with transport from point of hire is provided for non-Didipio residentsProfessional development skills training opportunities providedOGC VALUES: CARE | RESPECT | INTEGRITY | PERFORMANCE | TEAMWORK
