The opportunity
EY is looking for a confident Consultant/Senior Consultant – Generative AI Engineer. You will be focusing on architecting and delivering solutions, working with a wide variety of clients and industries. You will have the opportunity to lead and develop your skill set to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the data science landscape, supported by EY AI best practices and frameworks. You will provide our clients with a unique perspective on how data science and analytics can transform & improve their entire organization – starting with key business issues they face.
Your key responsibilities
•Develop PoC using Pre-trained Foundation Models and assisting stakeholders with analysis and implementation.
•Applying prompt-engineering techniques to specific use cases and model types.
•Collaborating with clients to rapidly develop AI solutions using Azure AI.
•Applying Foundation Models to propose and validate hypotheses for business queries.
•Displaying a growth mindset and genuine curiosity to understand clients' business processes and challenges, employing statistical analysis skills to identify transformation opportunities.
•Designing, implementing, and productizing AI pipelines with best practices and tools for seamless data handling, preprocessing, prompt design and engineering, deployment, and monitoring.
•Architecting end-to-end LLMOps solutions using cloud technologies, automation, and orchestration tools. Ensuring scalability, reproducibility, and reliability of AI/ML solutions.
•Developing Generative AI solutions and prompt management frameworks using cutting-edge methods to generate diverse and high-quality insights.
•Contributing to AI governance and ethics practices, addressing data privacy, model explainability, bias mitigation, and human-in-the-loop evaluation.
•Participating in large-scale client engagements. Fostering relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently delivering quality client services. Driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
Skills and attributes for success
•2+ years of proven experience in designing and delivering AI/ML solutions.
•Experience in natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics is highly desirable.
•Knowledge of cloud technologies, specifically Azure, and expertise in leveraging them for large-scale AI workloads.
•Ability to identify fundamental problems from real-world cloud use-cases and design, build, and validate successful AI solutions.
•Capability to demonstrate and evaluate AI solutions via experimental methods, particularly through hands-on creation of prototypes.
•Track record of being part of highly collaborative teams to tackle important problems producing high-impact solutions.
•Solution architecture and design experience, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and developing scalable and robust AI solutions.
•Business acumen, including the ability to understand customer needs and business objectives.
•Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in the field of AI.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to deliver work independently as well as with a team.
•Effective communication skills and collaboration abilities.
•Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
To qualify for the role, you must have
•Bachelor's degree or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, Statistics, Data Science.
•Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with LLM workflows, LLM lifecycle management frameworks, and tools like ML- PromptFlow.
•Proficiency in using Visual Studio Code.
•Proven experience with relevant cloud technologies, ideally MS Azure or AWS, GCP.
•Knowledge and proficiency in Azure AI Services including Azure AI Search.
•Experience building AI products using LLMs, embeddings or other natural language technologies particularly leveraging Vector Search.
•Strong understanding of key concepts in Foundation Models literature and expertise in building and deploying them for real-world examples.
•Experience with ML and deep learning.
•Experience leveraging a variety of services to act as data sources such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, etc.
•Strong communication skills, demonstrating an ability to work effectively with clients.
•Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
•Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or other commonly used languages in AI/ML development.
Ideally, you’ll also have
•MS Certification: Azure AI Engineer or Azure Data Scientist Associate.
•Hands-on experience of open-source framework like LangChain.
