Role and responsibilities
The role is to be part of a team of business analysts and this team will focus on various strategic Financial Risk change projects. The team will closely work with the FR TRM Change team, global change and the COO domain. It performs analysis and provides support to other TRM and FMGT colleagues. The TRM Change team is part of the FR TRM department in Amsterdam. FR TRM is a global department within ING, responsible for product control and market risk management activities.
You will be involved in coordinating and managing strategic change projects, mainly in relation to the FM Enhancement program, coordinating QBR processes, analysis, defining requirements and managing other internal stakeholders, all with the common goal to ensure that the FR TRM requirements are timely and completely delivered by the various ongoing change programs. Next to this, you will challenge the status quo and continuously look for improvements related to processes and systems. Examples of potential activities:
You play an active role in building a planning, solving impediments together with the teams involved;
You coordinate testing, analyse and validate test results;
You work closely together with various departments within the processing chain (COO, Financial Risk, Financial Markets) and participate in global projects like the FM Enhancement program and other related strategic TRM change projects
You act as a linking pin between the stakeholders and the implementation team/domains;
You define and draft business requirements and ensure correct interpretation
You have the ability to apply an end-to-end view on implementations and tracking their dependencies;

Followed a Master degree with a focus on Finance/Risk/engineering and/or Business;
At least 5+ years trading risk and/or product control experience
Good understanding of financial products in one or more asset classes (FX, Rates, Credits, Equity derivatives and/or Commodity derivatives), value chain processes and proven analytical skills
Experience in Sophis, Murex or IPA is a pre
Experience in project management and coordination;
Taking fact based decisions and being persuasive also with resistance;
Find new and simple solutions for complex problems and matters;
Team player but also capable of working independently;
Good communication skills in oral and written English.
