Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for API testing using Rest Assured and Karate.Collaborate with Business analysis/Product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage Taking ownership in preparing and executing Automation Test Scripts from Functional Specification/RequirementsIdentify, document, and track software defects, and work with developers to resolve issues. Delivering well structured, maintainable and fully tested code to UAT for business testingPerform regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities are not impacted by new code changes.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.Analyse test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to the team.Continuously improve the automation process and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What additional skills will be good to have?

Knowledge of Investment Banking products.Good to have experience in testing micro-services, Spring-boot Rest template for API automation.Experience in framework development from scratch.Experience in performance testing and tools such as JMeter.
