You will play a lead role in our Global Privacy Operations team, focused on US Privacy and working with a range of stakeholders across Solutions, Technology, Privacy Operations, Legal and Compliance. We pride ourselves on delivering measurable impact whilst supporting both our team and broader colleagues.
What You'll Bring:
3+ years’ experience of comprehensive US state privacy regulations, such as the CCPAExperience in a privacy management or privacy operations functionKnowledge of the product development lifecycleAbility to act with relative autonomy while using good judgement to engage with management and impacted stakeholdersDemonstrable experience in analyzing, organizing, and communicating complex workAn enthusiasm for building and strengthening relationships at all levels across the organizationAn eagerness for acting as a trusted advisor to our stakeholdersWe’d Love to See:
Experience in a privacy function within financial services, or technology or other regulated industriesExperience of a global technology organizationPrivacy credentials (e.g. Certified Information Privacy Professional - CIPP)Experience in the development or management of effective scalable processesExperience with OneTrust or privacy information management systemsExperience with data flows and privacy-enhancing technologiesExperience with delivering training and developing stakeholder knowledgeImpact You'll Make:
Support TransUnion’s Privacy Framework by ensuring compliance with data privacy laws, policies, standards and controlsAssess the privacy impact of new services or enhancements to existing servicesProvide stakeholders with actionable advice to manage privacy riskConduct and prepare privacy risk assessmentsCreate and maintain an accurate register of data assets and data processing activitiesDeliver on metrics which demonstrate privacy’s contribution to the organizationIdentify and escalate relevant privacy risk items to the US Privacy Operations ManagerSupport the delivery of regional privacy policies, procedures, processes and controlsOn the advice of the Privacy Legal team, implement changes necessary to adhere to new regulations, and to respond to regulatory auditsSupport data incident response as required, including breach determination and regulatory notification processesAssist with regional and global data privacy projects as requiredAct on the direction of the Privacy Operations management team as directed#Li-TE1

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Benefits:

Pay Scale Information :The U.S. base salary range for this position is $72,300.00 - $105,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
