EY Mauritius is looking for talented candidates to join our Assurance practice to support and drive its growth as IT Auditor.

Your key responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing of IT Audit part of financial audit engagements and involve to number of business consulting projects as an IT Audit professional. Consulting engagements focus on the assessment and/or evaluation of IT systems and the mitigation of IT-related business risks. As a Consultant within the Assurance team, you will participate in performing procedures focusing on complex and specialized issues. You will work with the team that creates plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and a strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses the risks inherent in the engagement.

 

Skills and attributes for success

Collaborating with members of the engagement team to plan engagements and develop work programs, risk assessments and other planning documents Participating in different financial audit engagements as IT Audit specialist Ensuring high quality in client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status Communicating issues to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations Applying strong project management skills, inspiring teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and using current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services Contributing to the growth of the practice and build your professional brand. Qualifications:

Eligibility requirements include the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information System, or Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable institution; 1to 2 years of experience might be an advantage Have understanding of IT Audit and/or Data Analytics Extensive knowledge in the Auditing and Accounting area.
