Consulting Director – Strategic Risk
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Strategic Risk Consulting team at Marsh UK. This role will be based in London (Tower Place). This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working three days a week in the office.
As our team takes on more and more complex cross-border work with multinationals and governments, we are seeking someone to work at Principal level among a team of consultants with backgrounds in Enterprise Risk, Resilience, Cyber, Climate and Strategy. A key part of the tole is to sell and sponsor the delivery of complex inter-disciplinary projects across (several of) these areas. Working regularly with our sister company Oliver Wyman and others, we operate a highly collegiate approach to our work, with many repeat clients and a reputation for tackling the new challenges at e.g. the intersection of the climate and resilience agenda effectively at governmental, C-Suite and working level.
We will count on you to:
Oversee sale and delivery of complex interdisciplinary projects, leveraging junior team effectivelyIdentify, design and stand up new offerings and capabilities through to effective saleIdentify and exploit synergies in our offerings as a result of your holistic understanding of the risk agendaHelp us to develop the next generation of consultants as we grow our 50-strong team across both sales effectiveness and deliveryWhat you need to have:
Proven experience designing and leading delivery of complex projects at senior level, involving multi-disciplinary teams, ideally in a consulting environmentAbility to ‘translate’ client questions to analytical questions to solveA desire to coach and develop the next generation of consultantsDeep subject matter expertise in several areas of our capability remit (Enterprise Risk, Resilience, Cyber, Climate and Strategy)Comfort and familiarity operating in C-suite environments or equivalentA collegiate and results-focused approach: we succeed or fail as a teamWhat makes you stand out?
