Role Overview

Working closely with Line of Business (LOB) Consulting Operations leadership, LOB leadership, and other professional services teams, the Consulting Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving and managing growth-focused efforts for the firm.  This role will support the growth and day-to-day operations of the Payer line of business, HealthScape Advisors (HealthScape). Specific responsibilities are outlined below.

Responsibilities

Overall Consulting Operations

Support LOB and HealthScape’s Consulting Operations leadership to make progress against the strategic agenda and collaborate with firm resources to deliver results Assist with LOB meeting schedules, agenda development, and meeting content development (weekly, quarterly, annual meetings)Support special projects under the direction of HealthScape LOB Consulting Operations leadership  (e.g., M&A, performance improvement projects, new system/tool support).Lead collaboration efforts with functional areas across the business to connect the dots between related endeavors and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

LOB Growth Enablement Support 

Business Development:  Support Business Development leadership with the execution of key sales enablement and business development initiatives and requirements (e.g., brand guidance adherence support, competitive research, account and offering-based research and reporting)External Partner Management: Lead efforts related to the development, maintenance, and promotion of third-party partner relationships, including contractors, channel partner organizations, trade associations, and capability partner organizations; serve as primary point of contact both internally and externally to assist with navigation, questions, and issues.Knowledge Management: Working closely with Chartis Knowledge Management Professional Services Team (PST), contribute to the management and refinement of LOB processes to ensure client teams are effectively capturing and sharing knowledge.Operational Excellence: Support HealthScape Consulting Operations leaders and Consulting Partners with achieving operational excellence through activities such as active monitoring of the sales pipeline, performing pricing quality assurance reviews against firm-wide standards, and monitoring timeliness of invoice collection.Qualifications and Desired Skills5+ years of experience working in a professional services or consulting environmentHealthcare focus preferredBachelor’s degree required; Strong project management experience, comfortable managing and prioritizing under tight timelinesAbility to rapidly learn and synthesize new knowledge and insightsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills; Ability to synthesize content and communicate in concise, informative written communicationsExceptional client service orientation - highly responsive and willing to go the extra mileA flexible self-starter; able to manage multiple projects and processes while remaining extremely detail orientedExperience collaborating across functional teamsAdvanced capabilities in MS PowerPoint, Word and ExcelPassion for materially improving the delivery of healthcare in the worldThe role is based in Chicago and will include a mix of remote and in-office work.

 

Salary range: $103,000-$130,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
