The Consulting Project Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of multiple client-facing consulting project(s) within the Energy & Water and Construction and Engineering industries.  This includes managing financials, scope alignment, scope creep, schedule adherence, resources and margin. 

Day to day Responsibilities:

Plan and leads project execution, ensuring the successful implementation of the contracted services Scopes, plans, and coordinates all aspects of the project and project resources utilizing standard and recommended Project Management processes and practices.  Plans and organizes work into discrete tasks that can be implemented, tested, and refined within the constraints of project requirements.  Responsible for ensuring alignment of staffing, forecast and overall financial budget and margin for projects.  Communicates to and manages expectations of program stakeholders.  Implements projects, ensuring achievement of business objectives, profitability, and quality.  Builds relationships of trust with clients, teams, and stakeholders.  Provide consistent creative and high quality solution leadership ensuring project quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer’s satisfaction.

Requirements:

6-10+ years of client facing project management or implementation consulting experience leading software implementation efforts Experience within the Energy & Water or Construction and Engineering software industry strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles.  Comfortable working in a matrix management environment.  Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors.  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.  Ability to travel as needed up to 75%.
