JOB DESCRIPTION:
Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components; complete complex bug fixes. Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Train entry-level software engineers as directed by department management, ensuring that they are knowledgeable in critical aspects of their roles. Design and work with complex data models of the connected car platform and global telematics platform. Perform other duties as needed.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.4 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.Also required is: 4 years of experience: utilizing ECL programming to design code logic and workflow involving OEM big data on HPCC platform required to build OEM solutions for the Connected Car team; writing technical design post-vetting of user stories; mentoring other developers on technical design, performing code reviews, troubleshooting issues with junior developers, and collaborating with other developers including QA engineers; utilizing ECL programming to implement and support solutions on HPCC (High Performance Computing Cluster); utilizing AWS and Azure Cloud for containerization and microservice implementation in Java or Python and configuration of data lakes when building OEM cloud solutions; and utilizing Connected Car OEM solutions, specifically Recall Clarity and Owner Check OEM to support revenue products in production.Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.Experience can be concurrent.#LI-DNI
