Consulting Technical Manager

 Job Duties: As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Consulting Technical Manager-related occupation.

Position requires:

Configure Oracle CC&B using tools such as Configuration Migration Assistant, blueprint et cetera. Working with developers for implementation of functionalities not available in CC&B; and Work on monthly code release following Agile methodology and DevOps culture model; and Gather requirements and capture them employing Business Process Model (BPM) and Use Case Model (UCM) and prepare estimations; and Analyze business requirement and design Oracle CC&B solution (Market Transaction module abbr. MTM and other modules like metering, credit and collection et cetera) using Oracle Utilities Application Framework and associated components like configuration tools, web services et cetera; and Identify painstaking manual business processes and help client reduce operating expenses by automating them; and Conducting training sessions and preparing training material on using Oracle CC&B; and Determine Input / Output parameters, communication protocol, XML structure to integrate Oracle CC&B with auxiliary applications like Competitive Retailer Information Portal, Outage Management System et cetera; and Work on upgrading the currently implemented Oracle CC&B application to the latest version available in the market; and Improvement system performance using specialized techniques such as ‘Information Lifecycle Management’ etcetera.
