Develop and maintain design rules | guidelines for single-use projects, providing technical support to stakeholders
Collaborate with other teams to clarify customer URS and facilitate consumables strategy and processes
Preparation of deviation list and proposing alternative technical solutions
Coordinate consumable designs, pricing & quotations, and attend in project decision-making processes supporting sales strategy with pricing information
Manage design documents with respect to project milestones and support technical & commercial customer meetings & negotiations as Consumable Engineer (x|f|m)
Review and approve design documents, supporting equipment troubleshooting and improvement
Facilitate prototype transfer to commercial products and provide on-site training for local teams
Participating in on-site local customer visits when required
Collaborate with PD and Marketing for future market trend analysis such as product evaluations and implement feedback loops for improvement
What will convince us
Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering (e.g. Process Engineering), ideally with a focus on biotechnology
Alternatively, comparable education with relevant professional experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and experience in single-use-technologies
Passion for the biopharmaceutical industry and process engineering topics and trends, such as know-how in consumable design
Strong project management and coordination skills
Ability to recognize motives and bring different interests together due to good understanding of people as well as goal-oriented and diplomatic approach
High customer orientation, assertiveness, and excellent communication going in-hand with negotiation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams, also under pressure and always with good time management
Business fluent German and English skills (both oral and written) and willingness to travel (approx. 5%)
