Consumer Analytics Insights Supervisor

The Business Analytics (BA) Lead delivers cutting-edge analytics to stakeholders enabling them to make insights-based decisions, driving sustainable topline and market share growth. This is done through combining, analyzing & interpreting external data sources and translating it into clear recommendations that feed the business and generates business impact. This includes ensuring and delivering periodic updates with the team, as well as providing inputs for crucial (recurrent) business process, responding to stakeholder requests and tailor-made deep dives across diverse business topics. The ideal candidate combines data savviness with strong business acumen. The BA lead exemplifies strong communication skills in acting as business partner to key senior stakeholders within Marketing, Category Management, Net Revenue Management and Sales. He/she is instrumental in bringing the outside in through data, looking forward and providing actionable business insights ensuring insights are at the heart of all PepsiCo plans. You will be responsible for leading the Business Analytics function for Food and Beverages (non Franchise) and will set the agenda for the full team. Your team will consist of 3 direct reports and will also be supported by our Global Business Center in India. The key brands that will be part of your scope are Lay’s, Duyvis, Doritos, Quaker, Pepsi, Lipton and Rockstar. You are part of the broader North Europe Insights team consisting of 3 departments: Consumer Insights, Business Analytics and Shopper Insights. You will report into the Sr Insights Lead NWE (North West Europe). This role can be based in the following Locations: Utrecht, Netherlands; Zaventem, Belgium. Please note we do not support relocation. Hybrid work model. Responsibilities Lead a hybrid team across different MUs, setting the team agenda and further develop the BA & Insights function Own data analytics & insights deliverables and periodic performance reporting Deep dive in sales performance and shopper behavior to unlock future growth opportunities Collaborate closely with, and act as business partner to, cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Revenue Management, Sales, Category Management), ensuring insights are at the foundation of all PepsiCo plans Collaborate with, and serve as sparring partner, to with peers from other insights departments, sr. NWE Insight Lead and Sector (Europe) Insights team Manage and serve as consultant to BU Leadership stakeholders Work with other internal teams to further simplify/automate current insights deliverables via new processes and tools and bring data analytics to next level Play key role in business planning by providing input and putting plans in external market context Manage and consult with data and research agencies to ensure accurate and high-quality delivery of data/insight in a timely manner Qualifications Relevant Master’s degree (e.g. Economics, Business, Marketing) At least 5 years of relevant work experience (ideally within FMCG) with local market knowledge Fluent in English (speaking and writing) Strong analytical skills: identifies connections in data and trends and generates insights Super-user of continuous data, including all agency software. Profound knowledge of Nielsen is a must Translates insights into customer/internal messages and solutions/action Strong interpersonal skills in all communication: recognizes the role of different stakeholders and tailors communication, messages and style accordingly to build engagement at all levels of the organization Flexible and responsive attitude: prepared to discover new solutions for new challenges as they arise and remains tenacious in achieving the required result.
