Consumer Business Development Manager

The jobholder role is primarily responsible for driving business growth aligned with the strategical and tactical plan to develop multichannel and multiproduct insurance partnership within the selected target industry verticals.

The jobholder is encouraged to operate with limited resources and in an environment of growing competition, making the best use of technology and data management to drive efficiencies and economies of scale.

The job holder is expected to assist and preparing business cases, through an ongoing process of mentoring, auditing, and training, monitor underwriting KPIs and performing also key account optimization. 

Key responsibilities: 

Identifying market opportunities. Developing and acquiring new business relations.  Implementing and launching new partnership programmes. Leading contribution to some of the key sales and strategic account management actions. Creating development plans, forecasting sales targets, growth projections and related financial reporting.  Contribute to the delivery of balanced profitable growth within the consumer partnership business and involves developing new accounts supporting collecting and analysing data and preparing business cases, with a contribution to some of the key sales and strategic account management actions, also representing Chubb both internally and externally.

Requirements & Experience:

The ideal candidate should have proven track record of experience in managing those coverages and is expected to operate in a complex and stimulating environment, making the best use of technology and data management to drive efficiencies and economies of scale. 

Good organizational skills and ability to manage even complex insurance issues in a matrix structured organization with wide international scope, together with a strong ability to work in a team and by objectives complete the profile of the ideal candidate.
