A Brief Overview The Auto Credit Officer evaluates and performs credit decisions of auto loans potential clients. These applications may come from auto dealers, bank branches and other related areas. Through his/her duties the Auto Credit Officer guarantees the fulfillment of decisions with the parameters and policies established by the Bank and Federal and State laws. What you’ll do + · Evaluates and analyzes Auto Financing Credit applications for retail and leasing potential clients. + Decide the approval or denial of auto loan credit applications in accordance with credit guidelines and policies established by the corporation. + Assures the fulfilling of all established credit policies and parameters thought the credit application process by means of evaluation of credit reports, customer profiles, dealer negotiations, collaterals quality and performs demographic analysis. + Assists internal and external customers with their financial or business needs and loan structure Perform clients interviews when needed. + Submit business results MIS for management on a daily or monthly basis. + Prepare dealer production and performance reports as requested. + Contributes to the development of Floor Plan Dealers business relationship. What You’ll Need: + Bachelor’s degree in business administration with two to three years of experience in consumer credit analyst, preferably in the automobile industry. + Credit Analyst Certification and Financial Statement Analysis courses preferred, or the equivalent combination of Education. + The position requires having an automobile in good condition and a valid driver’s license in P.R. + Available to work on weekends, holidays and extended hours. Availability to report to work to the assigned dealer.
