What You’ll Do

We are looking for an experienced consumer Product Designer to lead the design for Boundless's family immigration products as we expand to help millions of immigrants around the world. You will be responsible for creating intuitive designs that simplify complex immigration processes.  You’ll work directly with executive leadership, product management, and engineering to develop a product roadmap that expands the platform’s user experience, capabilities, and reach. Beyond project work, you’ll help further the design culture at Boundless as one of the earliest design leaders.

In this role, you will:

Work within a product team to understand customer needs, business goals, constraints, market opportunities Conduct and synthesize research to understand customer needs and validate design decisions Design new features and services from the ground up, sometimes starting with broadly defined loose concepts, sometimes on narrowly defined, tactical features Partner with executives and cross-functional leaders (e.g. product, engineering, growth), informing shared decisions with your unique design perspective Partner with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation of designs and iterating based on feedback Work with fellow designers to expand and evolve the Boundless design system Foster a culture of design excellence, creativity, and collaboration

We are looking for:

5+ years of professional experience designing digital products  Passion for transforming immigration for businesses and employees Web design experience for mobile and desktop Strong interaction and visual design skills A portfolio that shows your proven ability to create intuitive, beautiful experiences Experience conceiving and iterating on features based on research, data, and strategy Experience conducting user research and testing to validate design decisions A strong collaborator and communicator with designers and non-designers alike Proficiency in Figma

Location

Seattle — the Seattle team is in-office together at least two days per week 

Compensation

Compensation for this role includes both cash and equity. The starting base salary for this position is typically $112,000-$161,000.  Total compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process. Additionally, Boundless offers its U.S. full-time employees benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401K match, life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability insurance, and commuter benefits.
