**Job Purpose:**
Hawaiian Telcom is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Analyst to join our dynamic Sales team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing operational and analytical support to ensure the sales process runs smoothly. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and execution of sales processes, analyzing data, and delivering valuable insights to enhance sales strategies for our residential telecommunications services. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and an ability to collaborate across teams.
**Essential Functions:**
Daily support functions -- Customer support of order and installation functions to insure customer satisfaction, follow-up on outstanding customer issues and work toward resolution while continuing customer interaction throughout all stages of resolution.
Operational processes -- Develop and deliver operational materials to Consumer Sales Representatives. This includes conducting training sessions in a classroom environment, one on one guiding of the sales reps through operational processes and procedures and insuring that the reps have the appropriate tools to insure customer satisfaction. Operational process development and documentation -- Document operational processes applicable for the Sales teams including but not limited to processes within the team and working with other groups or departments to develop and document processes to aid in the ease of operation. Liaison for the Sales teams -- The ability to work with other groups in a collaborative environment to evaluate and improve existing processes.
Training and Development - Prepare training documents as needed for presentations to the sales teams. Subject matter expert for other departments within Hawaiian Telcom. Train sales reps on operational functions such as order entry, sales tracking, promotional offers, etc. Reconciliation of vender invoices Sales Order Review -- Monitor and review sales orders entered by the sales team to insure accuracy and completeness including working with the Compensation team for resolution of issues. Compensation tracking and reconciliation --Support tracking and reconciliation of monthly sales.
**Education:**
Two years of College or Technical School resulting in an Associate's Degree or equivalent
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:
Valid Driver's License Required
**Relevant Work Experience:**
2 to 4 years in related field
1 to 3 years in related sales support experience preferred.
**Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly preferred; ability to analyze and manipulate data, create pivot tables, and use formulas.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM software a plus.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve issues effectively and professionally.
* Understanding of telecommunications products and services (preferred but not required).
