Job Overview:
This role will report to the Retail Risk and Compliance Manager and will be responsible for providing business as usually support for retail bank branches with a focus on continuous improvement, risk management, compliance, legal, physical security, fraud detection, business continuity/critical incident management and loss mitigation. This role will also work as part of a team to ensure all identified gaps are remediated in a timely manner and with a focus on systemic automation and periodic control monitoring. Strong partnerships with operations teams, Business Risk & Controls partners, Key Technology & Operations partners, Product, Physical Security, Legal, Fraud Risk, Operations Risk and Compliance will be required to ensure effective solutioning and process design completeness. Attention to detail is critical in this role as change recommendations will impact thousands of field employees as well as our client base. A strategic thinker with a focus on automation will be most successful in this role.
Primary Job Functions:
Assignments with this role will vary based on current areas of focus and consumer Bank projects in flight and will include:
+ Support of GRC Risks, Controls, Oversight, Findings and Remediation Plan management.
+ Participation in the monthly Control Book reporting and quarterly Risk Profile process.
+ Monitors KDI’s for emerging changes and trends to ensure proactive management of all risks
+ Partners closely with the Retail Network Operations and Risk Management teams to ensure gaps and trends are reviewed and addressed as needed and in collaboration with partners impacted.
+ Collaborates closely with partners from Business Resiliency to support the continuity and incident response activities including coordination of event response for the Retail Bank. Supports incident outside of normal business hours. Supports annual updating of the Retail Branch network plans.
+ Identifies and fully leverages third party partners and their resources to optimize both operational and fraud performance and bring new capabilities to Key.
+ Generates ideas and champions change to maximize use of channels that provide superior quality, cost effectiveness and/or customer service, and at the same time eliminating non value-added activities and services.
+ Ensures that identified operational, compliance and risk management issues are resolved to an acceptable conclusion and in a timely fashion.
+ Influences other teams to drive projects to quick completion based on Retail Bank priorities and overall risk levels.
+ Ensures appropriate awareness and strategic options for all new and emerging trends for Retail to recommend changes in strategy or approach at the Senior Management level. Leverages field feedback and partner feedback to generate ideas.
+ Challenges approaches of other LOB to ensure Retail interests are addressed with the appropriate level of urgency.
+ Manages Projects impacting the Branch network including leading the change efforts, training, communications, and policy and procedure updates.
+ Complete assigned monitoring tasks in support of Retail Branch Network within service level commitment.
Required Qualifications:
+ Five years Retail Branch or Operational Support experience
+ BA/BS or equivalent work experience
+ Knowledge of Banking regulations including legal, regulatory and compliance
+ Strategic thinker that not only solves for the current process but has an eye towards automation and leveraging of various tools and capabilities.
+ Ability to create a vision for change in areas needed including process design and development. Focused execution to reduce risk.
+ Strong project management competencies are required due to the need to participate and lead Retail and cross LOB projects as needed.
+ Understanding of Continuity and Recovery planning and response. Ability to break down critical issues, understand impact and devise a plan to address and communicate.
+ Ability to proactively partner with various LOB's to drive process improvement opportunities
+ Strong understanding of Consumer, Small Business and Core Business segments
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Knowledge of inventory supplies and Workday system
+ Knowledge of access control including IDM and IIQ systems.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
+ COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000 to $95,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience.
