Consumer Strategy Manager

Role Purpose

 

We are looking for a talented and passionate marketing professional to join our Regional Consumer Propositions team. Our team’s mission is to design insurance product propositions for the Latin America consumer market to generate new business. Our consumer business in Latin America is predominately B2B2C, which means that our insurance products are distributed through our business partners like banks, fintech, retailers, others. Our team works with our regional and local product lines, new business and technical teams to define strong business and product propositions. 

The ideal candidate should have strong marketing experience to investigate and understand business prospect’s revenue model, its competitors and needs of its target audience combined with a strong ability to define cohesive value propositions and ability to communicate them clearly in strategic presentations and sales pitch. In short, the person in this role works as an orchestrator that identifies product-market fit, designs proposition in collaboration with others and guides creative teams to clearly convey propositions in highly engaging presentations and sales pitches.

Key Responsibilities

Learn and be proficient about mechanics of insurance products, our product line of businesses and their core benefits to consumers.

Learn and be proficient about our distribution channels (digital, telemarketing, face-to-face and door-to-door) and technical capabilities. 

Write sales-oriented and marketing content for business proposals to clearly present business and product propositions with the goal to engage business decision makers.

Guide the definition of new business or product propositions in collaboration with regional and local new business, consumer distribution and underwriting leads.

Oversee Graphic and UX design work for marketing materials such as briefs, prototypes, and presentations to effectively communicate a business and/or product opportunity.

Monitor market trends specifically in the fintech, retail/ecommerce, telecommunications and gig economy sectors to identify opportunities for product innovation.

Apply strong planning and business strategy to organize and run co-creation workshops with business partners to refine business or product propositions, customer experience journeys, implementation roadmaps, and others. 

Oversee consumer research to gather insights about target audiences’ needs, interests, and critical purchase intent drivers in respect to new product propositions. 

Requirements 

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, Economy, or another related field.Proficiency in digital marketing concepts (prototypes, customer journey mapping, digital funnel analysis, others)Ability to think creatively and strategically to identify opportunities and design effective solutions.Strong critical thinking to question and validate viable business or product opportunities.Strong skills in preparing and delivering presentations; consolidate large amount of information into cohesive, accurate and crystal-clear presentations. Experience in product innovation design is a plus.Proficient in MS Applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point).Fluent in English and Spanish (writing and spoken); Portuguese is a plus.

Experience

10+ years of professional experience in marketing, product management or related.
