Responsible for evaluating and decisioning consumer offerings within Ally underwriting policies. Expected to develop and maintain a high level of customer service for their assigned territory and that of your peers. The territory assigned will require the management of a portfolio of dealers and also leverage the potential to further grow the business. This role comes with challenging targets and requires high level production, including stout phone skills, computer experience with underwriting models, marketing to dealers, and the ability to multi-task.
The Work Itself Increase dealer portfolio revenue by practicing sound underwriting judgment and upholding Ally’s risk management principles Leverage high-touch and high-tech capabilities to negotiate contracts Demonstrate market awareness, strong listening, and adaptability as you build and cultivate strong relationships with dealers Requires flexibility in work schedule; evening hours, limited travel, and weekends required The Skills You Bring 1+ years in auto finance consumer underwriting (prime, sub-prime, and/or non-prime); Bachelor’s degree preferred Excellent sales, negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills Self-starter with a high level of productivity and sense of ownership, with the ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to new situations Familiarity with the Auto Finance industry, consumer credit, and trend analysis/analytics with the ability to work independently and drive your business results How We'll Have Your BackAlly's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals. Base Pay Range: $55000 - $95000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
