Content Acquisition Coordinator

The Content Acquisitions Coordinator will have the opportunity to learn the network’s programming needs, manage multiplatform rights to include streaming, support various research projects and maintain the day-to-day operations of content acquisitions for linear and streaming. It’s important to maximize ratings for our networks, so we can meet our yearly goals.

In this position you will support the content acquisitions team, obtain financial approvals for contracts, track invoices for acquired content, support movie scheduling, and collaborate with various departments such as Operations, Programming, Finance and Legal.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

Work directly with the Sr Manager of Content Acquisitions, as well as the VP of Content Partnerships on the preparation of the contract approval forms, across the linear networks and streaming. Manage the linear acquisitions tracking documents and review contracts, to ensure accuracy for Legal and Finance. Create new supplier accounts in our internal systems once the new acquisitions contracts are signed.Manage the payment processes, including submission of PO requisitions and invoice processing for content acquisitions contracts, as well as the programming and research pilot projects.Assist members of the Content Acquisitions and Partnerships team with scheduling meetings with third-party partners and expense reporting; plus, convention arrangements for events such as NATPE, MIPCOM and LA Screenings.Monitor delivery & QC status of material to process contract payments.Produce detailed Programming Briefs for all acquired content.Support the Content Acquisitions team on International research for performance of programs under consideration.Produce and update the Content Acquisitions Power Point decks for Senior Leadership.Prepare weekly ratings reports, by gathering programming and analytics data from our networks and the competition. Conduct daily piracy sweeps on YouTube to ensure our IP is protected.Serve as the back-up for the streaming Content Acquisitions Coordinator.

YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. 3+ years’ experience in Free TV, Cable TV, or other relevant media company, for the US Hispanic market or equivalent. Strong organizational, analytical, and financial skills.Ability to work well within a team  Good attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBilingual English/Spanish verbal and written
