About the Role
The West Elm and West Elm Kids brands are looking for a Social Media and Content Coordinator with experience in marketing and social media and an eagerness to join a growing team. They will assist with the development and execution of both brands’ digital content across all channels, including video asset production, influencer marketing, and community management.
This position requires an enthusiastic multi-tasker with strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to build relationships across teams. We are also seeking someone who has a "can do" attitude and is used to a data-driven environment and proactively solves problems.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development of digital content projects from start to finish. This includes acting as a liaison between internal and external partners, assisting on the creation of concept presentations, overseeing product and sample shipments, and assisting on photo/video shoots as needed. Community Management. This role will be responsible for monitoring community engagement across our social channels, flagging and responding to customer questions and concerns, and overseeing our queue of user generated content (UGC). Social scheduling and publishing. Routing final photo, video, and copy deliverables from their respective creators to their final channels, and ensuring a prompt and accurate publication. Analytics and reporting. Partnering with our Social Strategy Manager and Director of Content on weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting. This role is responsible for pulling metrics from various analytics platforms and collating them into reports for our team’s broader analysis. External vendor and talent maintenance. This role will act is a primary point of contact between our internal Content team and external partners, coordinating the delivery and receipt of contracts, invoices, and onboarding documentation. Budget tracking. Ensure accurate and consistent documentation of team spending.Criteria
1-2 years of social media, content and project management experience Analytically minded with strong communication skills. Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to reprioritize project tasks while maintaining deadlines and goals. Team player. Able to interface with all levels of executives with a positive and collaborative approach. Self-starter, with ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. A passion for home goods and/or retail a plus. Strong Microsoft skills, primarily Excel and PowerPoint. This role requires being onsite in the Dumbo Brooklyn office#LI-LG1

The expected starting pay range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
