What we ask
Based on Industry knowledge and insight, commission and manage fast turnaround copy, photography and video asset requirements for owned channels and at live events including post-production across B2B and B2C content.
Source, produce and promote content for all stages of the sales cycle including lead generation, conversion, sales and post-sale comms. This will include content for both off/online communications, Social, CRM, Web copy as well as timely content for Thought leadership content including Whitepapers, longer form articles and case studies.
Manage end-to-end process of content creation and production. Work with creative/content producers both in-house and external suppliers, as well as translation and publishing suppliers.
Ensure content is optimised for mobile and SEO. Ensure all content is in-line with brand governance.
Innovatively maximise opportunities for engagement, indexing, ranking, click-through and conversion.
Work closely with content planning and marketing teams to establish brief and then project manage through creation to delivery.
Contribute to planning process to ensure appropriate content is delivered.
Responsible for project governance, including adhering to CI and Web guidelines.
Own and manage status updates (RAG reports) with relevant stakeholders.
Manage project budgets within agreed tolerances and ensure related administration (RFA, Invoicing and PO process) are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Identify and communicate key project inter-dependencies and any associated risks or overlapping resource requirements.
Identify and plan efficient ways to mitigate identified project risks/issues.
Review projects regularly to understand performance success and provide solutions based on your analysis where content has failed to perform to business expectations.
You will needA Marketing/relevant University degree or relevant higher vocational training.A minimum of 2 years previous experience of working in a content creation/delivery role.Practical experience of Technical copy writing and experience in curation of data-driven content such as white papers, case studies and long form articles. Ability to proof read and edit copy.Technical experience of shooting on Canon products and standard editing and post-production software.Experience in photography and video creation/direction.B2B Industry knowledge across multiple industry sectors with a track record in data driven decision making to create engaging and relevant content.Experience producing content for editorial purposes.Creative thinker with excellent content generation skills.Excellent communications skills, with a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing, to both internal and external stakeholders.Good understanding of taxonomy and asset tagging for search.Excellent working knowledge of major social media channels including Facebook and Twitter.A basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and illustrator would be helpful.Ability to write briefs for external content providers and manage outsourced content creation.Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning/prioritising skills.Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
