The Content Creator plays a vital role in writing, publishing and maintaining content that supports Bright Horizons’ mission and goals. This position is responsible for creating industry-related blog posts and copy for landing pages, as well as updating and publishing webpages, including videos, podcasts and webinars and for helping the company reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information about our company and our services.

Responsibilities:Content Creation:
Develop compelling content, including blog posts, articles, and newsletter copy.
Onsite video content creation as needed to support key brand events for social media use.
SEO optimize and refresh existing content
Conduct keyword research and identify content gaps
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create content that aligns with marketing and business objectives.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and content creation.
Copywrite content as needed for primary digital assets email and digital newsletter copy.
Website Creation:
Maintain and update Bright Horizons’ resources hubs, ensuring that it is visually appealing, optimized for search engines and has proper CTAs.
Manage website content, including adding, editing, and removing pages.
Edit creative assets (CTAs, image or text) on the website to improve user experience
Liaise with internal stakeholders on the content to uphold publication standards
Acquire strong knowledge of site standards, modules, templates, and widgets
Collaborate with primary stakeholders to increase publishing velocity
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field - Required
3 years of experience with content creation and website management - Required

Additional Job RequirementsWriting, editing, and proofreading experience is a must
Strong videography skills with ability to capture candid moments
Knowledge of visual storytelling, sound and light, and basic editing abilities
Portfolio of published content
Experience with Content Management Systems (Sitecore a plus)
Basic knowledge of HTML and SEO
An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
Time-management skills
For onsite social video content creation, key skills include: strong videography skills, adaptability to changing environments, quick decision-making, excellent communication to collaborate with onsite teams, knowledge of social media platforms, visual storytelling, basic editing abilities, understanding of lighting and sound, ability to capture candid moments, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality content is produced on location
