How You’ll Help Us Connect the World
As a Content & Demand Generation Intern, you will be responsible for support our marketing team in creating, editing, and organizing written content while helping build a robust demand generation funnel. This individual will proofread third-party articles, craft compelling marketing copy, and manage content workflows. Additionally, they will assist in identifying and engaging potential prospects, nurturing early-stage leads, and helping to establish a consistent flow of qualified opportunities. You Will Make an Impact By
Content Proofing & Copywriting: Review and proofread articles delivered by third-party content providers for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines. Edit and refine written content to align with our brand voice and messaging. Develop compelling copy for digital marketing initiatives, including landing pages and email campaigns. Demand Generation & Prospect Engagement: Assist in identifying potential prospects and outreach methods to engage early-stage leads. Help develop messaging frameworks and outreach sequences to convert prospects into qualified opportunities. Track and analyze outreach effectiveness to inform ongoing strategy and improvements. Content Workflow & Project Management: Follow established workflows to publish and update content on our website. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects progress efficiently from ideation to final publication. Maintain and organize content calendars, ensuring deadlines and resources are allocated effectively. Relationship Management with Third-Party Providers: Serve as a key contact for our third-party writing group. Review and provide actionable feedback on submitted content to maintain quality and relevance. Oversee the timely delivery of written materials and guide revisions to meet project requirements. Marketing Automation & Email Campaigns (Bonus): Assist with setting up and executing outbound email marketing campaigns in Marketo or comparable marketing automation tools. Collaborate with the marketing team to refine audience targeting, messaging, and testing strategies for improved campaign performance.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s degree in Business Administration, Journalism, English, Marketing, or relative major from an accredited university Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship Military-Affiliated candidates encouraged to apply (Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists)
You Will Excite Us If You
Are familiar with Content Management Systems (CMS) for website updates Have experience with Marketo (or similar marketing automation platforms) Have knowledge of Salesforce or Outreach platforms Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team Can handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines Possess strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills Have a strong initiative; are a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities Have experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities
