Within the Consumer team, the New Modes group envisions different ways to enjoy the convenience of DoorDash beyond delivery, such as DoubleDash, dining out, gifting, gift cards, and payments. If you are passionate about building new use cases and driving 0>1 opportunities, this role is for you!
About the RoleWe're looking for a Content Designer to become a key member of one of our most innovative and 0-1 organizations on the consumer app, called New Modes. This is where some of our favorite new DoorDash magic happens, from offering new deals and ways to pay, to creating celebratory gift card strategies, to making the ol’ business lunch better. Got an idea for a new feature that might make ordering on the DoorDash app even better? New Modes is there for it.
As DoorDash expands its horizons and invests in new use cases, your contributions will be pivotal in ares like defining how we connect the online and offline dining experience on our platform; forming strategies around how consumers can get more bundled items delivered; and creating new payment methods on the platform.
You'll report into the Head of Content Design on our Content Design team, in our Design org. We expect this role to be hybrid, with 2-3 days a week onsite.

Experience with audiences like consumers and restaurants is a bonus! CompensationThe successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
