As the Content Designer for PC Financial, you will be a full participant in designing and delivering accessible, industry-leading digital experiences that our customers find useful and convenient. We’re looking for a Content Designer to work closely with product designers, product owners, and tech leads on the PC Financial and Services digital experiences, including PC Bank, PC Telecom, PC Insurance, and Gift of Choice. If you love contributing to content systems, and making microcopy clear and human, you'll love being a part of our team.

 
What you’ll do: 

Design, write, edit, and own product copy and content strategy for the PC Banking and Services digital experiences. This may range from navigational nomenclature and interface language, to translating marketing material to a digital environment.Partner with Product Design, Research, Product, Marketing, and Engineering to take products from conception to launchApply the principles of accessibility and inclusive design in content creationUse data and research to evaluate your content’s impact, and push for continuous improvementGuide the improvement and implementation of content-related processes, resources, and standards for the Design teamCollaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory to ensure that our digital copy meets our legal and regulatory responsibilitiesDemonstrate the impact of your work proactively and often, using data and customer insights to guide and advocate for your workLooking at the bigger picture — contribute to conceptual explorations to understand and solve for some of our most difficult customer experience challenges

What you’ll need: 

A portfolio of your work demonstrating experience in product writing and/or copywriting in a digital environmentA proficiency in clear, detailed writing that sometimes even delightsAbility to navigate ambiguity, solve problems and manage stakeholder needs, as well as complex business operational needs and constraints to drive alignmentExperience creating content guides and standards, or related artifacts to help others write successfullyAbility to track the impact of your work across multiple teams and to proactively manage issues and complexityExperience advocating for content and design and driving projects forwardAbility to understand tone of voice, and to extend it and adapt it based on contextKnowledge of Content Management SystemsExperience in working in a cross-functional team environment with other designers, product owners and managers, and multiple stakeholders
