The Opportunity:

As a Content Editor in the growing medical writing team within Roche Services & Solutions  you will play a crucial role in reviewing and editing various forms of content, such as articles, blog posts, social media posts, website content, and promotional materials related to medical and healthcare topics.

With your strong editorial experience, you will guide the team in developing consistent, clear and impactful digital content for our business partners. In addition, you will work with relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective deployment of resources and tools to support and ensure that writing activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with the business needs.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Content Creation Chapter you are a person who upholds the highest standards of accuracy, quality and compliance with all applicable industry guidelines, local and international.

Review and edit medical content for different formats / digital channels and platforms, including: information for patients, educational materials for HCPs (slides, posters, speaker briefs and presentations for conferences), newsletters, medical reports/study summaries, materials for use in public relations teams.

Ensure that content is clear, concise, and engaging for the target audience, while maintaining the appropriate tone and style.

Review content, structure and layout of deliverables to ensure accuracy, adherence to brand guidelines and compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as with Roche best practices.

Conduct fact-checking and verify resources and references used in content.

Collaborate with writers, subject matter experts, and marketing teams to understand the content objectives and deliver high-quality content.

Provide feedback and guidance to writers to improve the quality of their content and support their professional development.

Diligently keep up to date with, and follow, all applicable company standard operating procedures.

Ensure that all content is optimized for search engines and follows best practices for digital marketing.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, guidelines, and best practices in medical writing and digital marketing.

Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring timely delivery of content across a range of therapeutic areas and deliverables.

Monitor assigned tasks and manage own workload, taking ownership and anticipating capacity issues and potential solutions.

Quickly and effectively engage resources, utilizing both formal and informal networks to meet desired goals. Work closely with Business Partners.

Make recommendations to improve service and responsiveness to business partners.

Who you are:

We are looking for upbeat, dynamic individuals who are highly involved and passionate about writing and language!

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, life sciences, or a related discipline (Master's degree a plus).

Native-level proficiency in written and spoken English.

2-4 years experience as an editor, with attention to detail and adherence to brand guidelines.

Experience or passion for pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences topics.

Proficiency in content management systems, digital marketing tools, and SEO best practices.

Strong communication skills, both in delivering and receiving feedback.

Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Collaborative attitude with experience working with cross-functional teams.
