Job Description

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Content Lead, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Content Lead  joining our team to coordinate with the supporting editorial and technical staff to ensure appropriate content support, ensuring content complies with approved objective taxonomy and integrates with related activities.

HOW A CONTENT LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Coordinates with the supporting editorial and technical staff to ensure appropriate content support, ensuring content complies with approved objective taxonomy and integrates with related activities.

Coordinates content requests and publication schedules.

Performs additional quality checks and conducts preliminary assessment of submitted content for appropriateness and readiness for publication.

Facilitates and monitors customer approval of proposed and submitted work, ensuring all content has been approved by the client.

Provides training and guidance to client on content strategy, the content management system, and commercially available as well as custom tools provided to analyze content and platform performance.

Assists in design and analysis of custom metrics sets.

Assists customer with analysis of collected data and metrics.

Alerts team and provides diagnosis of significant metric trends or anomalies.

Contributes to periodic and ad hoc reviews and reporting as required by client and program leadership.

Assists in capturing lessons learned and best practices and supports efforts to apply best practices across related program efforts.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant communication and content developments affecting the supported region.

Monitors issue and event coverage by other sources and provides assessment inputs in how program efforts compare in terms of effectiveness.

Advises client regarding emerging content and platform trends.

Ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time may be required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's Degree required; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

Experience: 8+ years of experience

Security clearance level: SECRET clearance required, TS/SCI preferred, selected candidate will be submitted for upgrade

Location: On Customer Site
