Content Management Analyst - Master Data Management (MDM)

The Role:

You will assure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of one or more critical master data objects on select WK TAA systems. Critical master data encompasses business name, address, contact details, corporate hierarchy, order placers, entity linkage, segment, product and pricing. As a “content expert”, a colleague in this position is accountable for associated daily operational processes and tasks. This involves the possible effects of the options on multiple integrated systems, interfaces, and processes.

Essential duties:

Review and resolve the match and merge queue for the consolidated customer record

Review and resolve the match and relate queue for linking customer records to entity records

Identify and correct data quality issues for incoming customer records

Manage relationship and legal hierarchies to support downstream BI and analytics

Resolve data conflicts from source systems escalating issues when needed

Work with GBS to implement new business rules in MDM

Basic working knowledge of main TAA systems (Salesforce, SAP, MDC, eStore)

Be a primary liaison with other master data teams for issues relating to the impacts of master data integrity

Maintain, communicates and enforces procedures documents for relevant master data processes.

Acts as process expert for the critical master data your responsibilities

Maintains confidentiality of privileged information stored on enterprise computing systems. Identify opportunities and participates in process improvement projects. 

Research and make recommendations on best practices in data management to enhance the quality and efficiency of the MDM system

Create and schedules training based on the review of data to enhance efficiency.

Participate in training finance, order management, product operations and other relevant roles within the organization that creates customer, vendor and product data

Develop Master Data Management/Data Governance documentation to include procedures, process charts and keep them updated

Help perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending to develop appropriate process changes.

Job Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum:   Bachelor’s Degree preferred in related field OR, equivalent.

Experience: 

1 to 3 years of experience in master data management (MDM)

Experience in SAP
