Content Manager

The content manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing all content creation efforts, including website copy, blog posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent English language skills and experience optimizing content for SEO and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy Development:

Plan and implement a content strategy that aligns with goals and target audience.Create content calendars and oversee content production schedules.

Content Creation & Management:

Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.Ensure content is clear, engaging, and aligned with brand voice.

SEO Optimization:

Optimize content for search engines using keywords, meta descriptions, and on-page SEO best practices.Use tools like Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console to monitor and improve content performance.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing, web development, and design teams to ensure content supports campaigns and website goals.Coordinate with speakers and partners for guest content or interviews.

Content Performance Analysis:

Track content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and make data-driven decisions to improve content.Generate reports on content effectiveness and provide insights.

Quality Control:

Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and consistent with the company’s brand and tone.Regularly update and refresh website content to keep it relevant.

Trend Research:

Stay updated on industry trends, academic conference topics, and content marketing best practices.Identify opportunities for new content formats (e.g., videos, infographics, webinars).

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.At least 3 years of experience in content creation, content marketing, or a similar role.

Language Skills:

Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills in English.Strong proofreading and editing abilities.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console).Experience with WordPress or other content management systems (CMS).Familiarity with basic HTML (a plus).

Project Management:

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, Asana).

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Creative mindset with a strategic approach to content.Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Additional Skills:

Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing.A basic understanding of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is a plus.
