Thomson Reuters, an industry leader at the intersection of content and technology, is looking for a perceptive and self-driven professional content writer for its digital marketing arm catering to US-based law firms.
Beyond your credentials, you must thrive in a fast-paced, production writing environment and be keen on collaborating with others to deliver quality and client-centric content on complex topics in English.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
Research and write compelling blog content in English for legal clients that complies with internal best practices, industry standards, and corporate policies, and eventually grow into developing content for other purposes or platforms.
Consult documented content strategy and internal partners to understand and produce content aligned with client business goals, brand differentiators, target audiences, and preferred tone or voice.
Revise blog content based on internal or external feedback.
Establish and maintain proficiency in navigating content and project management tools.
Meet required deliverables and establish key performance indicators (productivity, quality, time tracking, and on-time delivery).
Work on multiple writing tasks at a time across a wide range of practice areas and geographic locations.
Work as part of a team, completing work assignments and collaborating with others as required.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Content Marketer if you have:
4+ years of professional content writing experience in English within legal, finance, journalism, medical, or business and technology fields.
Working knowledge of legal concepts and terminology, AP style / standard rules for grammar, and punctuation.
Proficient skills in legal research and digital marketing (specifically, SEO content writing) – an advantage.
Excellent English communication skills.
A strong ability to manage time, prioritizing and handling multiple and/or conflicting tasks and priorities.
A team player mindset, adapting to an ever-evolving environment and embracing change.
A punctual process flow, meeting deadlines while achieving output and metric goals.
The ability to work independently with great attention to detail.
Education
Bachelor’s degree: Communications, Journalism, or related degree preferred.
Working Hours / Hybrid
Work mid-shift with some overlap with US business hours.
In office once a month.
