Content Marketing Manager (Scientific & Commercial)

We are currently seeking a Content Marketing Manager who will be responsible for develop commercial and scientific marketing copy for a range of platforms to educate, serve, and inspire the scientific community. This position is part of the Corporate Marketing Team located in Basel, Switzerland and will be on-site. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Develop commercial marketing copy for a range of platforms, including product sheets, website, email, social media, and ads + Develop scientific content to educate, serve, and inspire the scientific community + Review and edit existing content and help introduce new content types, such as infographics, podcasts, webinars, and more + Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and implement appropriate marketing content across multiple channels, including digital channels, web, video, print, presentation decks, white papers, and other communications to support marketing campaigns + Act as a brand ambassador, understanding, upholding, and communicating our message, voice, and values in all aspects of our marketing programs + Work closely with design team to develop creative concepts that work across copy and design + Assist in building a community around our content, supporting existing content, and introducing novel strategies to engage our audience The essential requirements of the job include: + Degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience in content marketing or communications within the life science industry + Prior experience within a content marketing, copywriting, and editing within the life sciences industry + Experience working with different content formats, tailoring messaging and style to resonate with different audiences + Excellent attention to detail with strong editing and proofreading skills + Excellent knowledge of written English – Native speaker preferred It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Meeting tight deadlines and working on multiple projects simultaneously + Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners + Prioritizing goals and a having a continuous learning and improvement mindset At Danaher we bring together science, technology and operational capabilities to accelerate the real-life impact of tomorrow’s science and technology.
