Experience

Minimum 5-7 years of professional writing and editing experience.Demonstrated experience with marketing principles and how content strategy fits into marketing/public relations campaigns and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in marketing strategy and content development

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, writing or related field

Seasoned storyteller (writing, editing, strategy) able to compel readers and viewers to actKnowledge of digital platforms, social media, blogs, and creating sharable and viral digital contentMust be able to function in a dynamic team environment.Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently.Expert knowledge in content development and digital and print distribution channelsExperience with marketing principles and how digital, print and video content fits into Marketing/PR campaignsPassion for Children's and ability to tell engaging stories through print, digital and video channels

Job Responsibilities

Creates original website, social, digital, and print content for distribution on Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Strong4Life channels and a variety of community partner needs.Executes all aspects of content production, including conceptualization of content or stories, interviewing, drafting, editing, and publishing.Develops the style, tone, and key messaging for content deliverables in accordance with the Strong4Life brand.Ensures messaging is consistent and cohesive across channels.Develops and maintains content strategy editorial guidelines.Consults on content production best practices amongst departmental teams.Actively uses insights from analytics to determine best practices and applies learnings to content development.
