Summary

We are actively recruiting for a Content Marketing Specialist to join our Commercial team at Corporate HQ in Salisbury, MD.  This person will be responsible for the execution of the overall digital marketing strategy for Perdue Farms.  Their primary focus on day-to-day management of the digital experience and zero-party data collection brand websites. They will also be responsible for global conversion strategies, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), content strategy, website data analysis, on-site consumer behavior and consumer zero-party data profiles within the Perdue Farms CDP. The Content Marketing Specialist assists the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing in the development and implementation of annual and long-term marketing plans and success will be judged by ability to meet specific objectives related to growth in sales and profitability while being consistent with the Company’s mission, values, and quality policy.

 

 

The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage digital experience strategy across all brand websites in the Perdue Farm’s portfolio. Execute consumer capture campaigns on a daily basis across sites, coordinating creative, building target groups/campaigns, designing promotions, and optimizing toward established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with web development, web design, marketing, customer relations, and merchandizing to develop campaigns in line with annual marketing plans and established goals. Analyze and report on appropriate performance data/metrics, insights, and best practices to measure the success of every campaign and to refine strategy for improved performance. Collaborate with, lead, and clearly communicate with other internal departments and external partners while engaging multiple stakeholders across a wide variety of digital content projects. Participates in the creative development process via direct interaction with the content team (including brief development, creative cost estimates, media estimates and photo/video shoot process). Manages and maintains consumer zero-party data profiles within the Perdue Farms CDP (Consumer Data Platform). Completes all activities from individual performance development plan. Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing, or equivalent work experience, plus 2-5 years related work experience including 0-3 years of digital marketing experience. 

 

The ideal candidate must also have:

Experience in a variety of CMS (Wordpress, Shopify, etc.), modern UX experience and design, and onsite conversion techniques.  Experience directly managing large budget campaigns and a proven track record of driving ROI. Experience capturing, managing, and maintaining consumer zero-party data. Strong analytical skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, etc. Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.  May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
