What will you do?
As a Content Optimization Specialist, you will maintain and refine our knowledge management program, build and optimize AI-ready content, and mentor team members on effective strategies. Your daily activities will include conducting hands-on data analysis, reviewing and presenting findings on knowledge base content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to harmonize knowledge creation. By collaborating with others to optimize content and identify new opportunities, you will ensure our knowledge base remains comprehensive and up-to-date, ultimately driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Content Optimization
Identify and implement content optimization opportunities, owning work and driving the work of others based on strategic needs and user feedback. Ensure our knowledge base remains relevant and valuable. Collaborate with and guide subject matter experts to better content. Drive strategies to ensure content is fit for purpose, including optimizing for AI. Supervise and analyze content quality. Communicate findings: highlight performance, areas for improvement, and value. Develop analysis to advise strategic decisions and demonstrate value. Use process improvement methodologies to drive continuous improvement in knowledge and content management practices, maintaining agility and responsiveness to changing needs.
Knowledge Management Support and Development
Maintain and enhance the established knowledge management program, ensuring continuity and improvement. Provide ongoing training to collaborators, ensuring proficiency and awareness of updates.
Community Building & Teamwork
Engage with subject matter experts and management to secure support for content strategies, content creation, and program initiatives. Establish relationships and communities that champion a knowledge-sharing environment.
Experience
Required: 1-2 years of technical writing, knowledge writing or documentation Preferred: Experience with instrument or service documentation or any product support for scientific instruments Proven track record of managing multiple tasks and delivering results per plan

Open to remote/work from home or site based. Willingness to work non-traditional hours to accommodate time zone differences of a global team Ability to travel as needed (domestic and international) – less than 10%
