About the Role and Program:
Disney’s Direct to Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere. The Disney+ Programming team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.
Disney+ Global Content Planning is seeking a Summer 2025 intern who will provide pivotal support to the Content Planning and Scheduling team. This role will focus on global premiere date tracking, maintain and audit databases/calendars across various tools and systems, and assist with ad hoc projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong sense of collaboration and diplomacy.
The approximate dates of this internship are May/June - August 2025.
What You Will Do:
Develop documentation – build and update internal documentation and presentations to a consistent formatMaintain internal trackers that includes high volumes of data across titles planned for Disney+ globallyData entry and auditing across planning tools and systemsSupport on ad hoc projects to facilitate overall planning and release strategiesRequired Qualifications & Skills:
Experience with the Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for entertainment, TV and TechnologyMeticulous attention to detail and a dedication to accuracyExcellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learnStrong analytical and strategic skills, and excels in preparing presentations, memos and other written materialStrong emotional intelligence and collaborative spirit.Passion and insight into The Walt Disney Company segments, brands and franchises, the elements that define them, and expertise to build further audience engagement.Education:
Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program (Masters MBA, etc.)Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a graduate degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney InternshipCurrent Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program. Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationAdditional Information:
Be fully available (30 hours per week) during the duration of the internshipBe able to provide own housing and transportation in the Glendale, CA areaThe pay rate for this role in California is $30.40 per hour.
